Several of you have asked me about Betty since my initial
post about her and her potato bug obsession. Suffice to say that nothing has changed, except the frequency of her forays into our yard. Since school has let out, Betty is at our house, digging for bugs upwards of 4-5 times a day. Last week, Ami left our house and was sitting in her car out front for a minute getting things organized. She happened to look out the window of the car and see Betty army crawling on her elbows across our front lawn, hiding behind the vines out front. Ami very slowly reached for her camera phone and quietly rolled down her window to get a photo, but Betty saw her and made one of her trademark lightening fast exits. Over then next few days, we saw Betty army crawling across the lawn several times a day, but we could never catch a photo of her...until yesterday.
Yesterday, Betty let her guard down and Ami's husband Peter got some great cell phone shots of her in the yard:

It's going to be a great summer...

Wow. I wonder if you'd be able to reverse the curse if you went and found a bunch of potato bugs and put them in a bucket out front, free and easy. Maybe she'd feel like there was no more challenge. I'd help you. :)
LOL ... what a strange obsession ... I'm looking forward to many more secret spy photos of Betty and the search for Potato Bugs... lol
